I totally support this view. In France, Francetelecom is still advocating in favour of X 400 because it gives to the sender information regarding the good receipt of a transaction set, and then says when this message has been recuperated by the destinator. We need as soon as possible tools which deliver at least the same level of service. It is good to work for standards but users need tools to adhere to these standards and implement, even if these tools are simplified implementations.
