Very useful comments!  I'll study them and respond more
fully later - only one question and clarification now.

Is it feasible to list the eCo elements that are not mapped?
(Just a list of names would give some idea of scope and purpose.)

Clarification re one of your comments:

Actually, Business Event does not exist in REA, which only
considers Economic Events.  Business Event comes from 
several other models including RosettaNet, Sun IT, and (I think)
EDOC.
