Subject: RE: Initial Merge tpaML and BPMM
Then you should feel free to be involved. Kris Ketels is championing this effort. I'm sure reviewing other work such as a canonical XML Profile as mentioned in your other email would be appreciated......... I'd hate to see more fragmentation. ---------- Simon Johnston (sjohnsto@rational.com) Product Manager, e-Business Modeling, Rational Software Corp. 8383 158th Ave NE, Suite 300, Redmond, WA 98052 Direct: 425-985-6163 -----Original Message----- From: srh@us.ibm.com [mailto:srh@us.ibm.com] Sent: Monday, July 24, 2000 6:38 AM To: ebxml-BP@lists.ebxml.org; Karsten.Riemer@East.Sun.COM; linkage@interaccess.com Subject: Initial Merge tpaML and BPMM BP ebXMLers, Attached is the current IBM UML tpaML. There is no matching explanation document, but referring to the tpaML XML specification should help significantly. It is a work in progress UML-rendering based on the official tpaML 1.0.6 in XML spec, and work continues in this area. As tpaML becomes integrated at the TRP level, parts of tpaML are relevant for BP for integration. We can plan to have further discussion in San Jose concerning this, and interim calls if we think we should. The .mdl file also contains the 1.1 BP version (not been updated to last week's version). There is no integration at this point. The zip contains .jpg images of the static class diagrams. Beware that I am also participating in a work effort within the Architecture team to analyze/propose UML/XML mappings in the current absence of standard UML Profiles for B2B Messaging.
