Subject: Draft documents defining UML/XML representation for BP?
Hi, I'm relatively new to this list, and I haven't yet seen any pointers to any draft documents defining UML/XML representation of business processes. However some of the emails I have seen flying around hint at the existence of such documents. So perhaps someone can tell me: (1) Do any such documents exist yet? (2) If so, where can I download or obtain them from? (3) If not, can I assume that UML/XML representations for BP are what we are striving to achieve. My particular interest in this area is in the possibility of code generation for supporting informations systems (within an enterprise) for BPs defined in an XML format. I have seen the tpaXML stuff but I believe that there is possibility of much overlap between TPA and BP, and I think BP is the most appropriate place to be modelling message flow and sequencing. Thanks. ________________________________________________________________________________ Evan Ireland Sybase EAServer Engineering eireland@sybase.com Wellington, New Zealand +64 4 934-5856
