Subject: glossary comments

These relate to phrases with significance in the BP spec schema
environment. Karsten Riemer will be in as good a position as I to discuss
these issues. Best regards Jamie Clark

a. Comments to existing definitions.

Business Collaboration -- Your definition should include a reference to the
specific object in the BPSS model, which is an instance of the general
definition in your v0.97 glossary.

Business Document -- Your definition should include a reference to the
specific object in the BPSS model, which is an instance of the general
definition in your v0.97 glossary.

Business Transaction -- Your definition should include a reference to the
specific object in the BPSS model, which is an instance of the general
definition in your v0.97 glossary.

Digital Signature -- Your definition does not limit itself to the W3C
XML-DSIG spec, which may be the exclusive method invoked by the ebXML
specs. If so, a mention of ebXML's use of the XML-DSIG "flavor" of digital
signature standard would probably be wise.

Repository Item -- There is something recursive here -- repositories are
fthe things that are full of "repository items", but the latter are
undefined. Are "repository items" a synonym for "registry item"?

b. Consider adding the following definitions:

Contract -- A bounded set of legally binding statements and/or commitments
between identified trading partners.

Legally Binding -- A character of a statement or commitment exchanged
between trading partners that expresses the sender's intent to make the
statement or commitment legally enforceable.
