Mentoring A Mentor is provides help and guidance with the ebXML Business Process Methodology to the Industry Domain Teams. A Mentor does not do the actual modeling. The Industry Domain Team counter-part to a Mentor is a Liaison. The liaisons come from the Core Components Industry Domain teams. They are to learn the ebXML Business Process Methodology and help their teams with the methodology. They are the counter-parts to the mentors from the Core Process team. The liaisons will take a more active role in the industry domain teams while the mentors are a support role. + Progress to date - Bob Haugen, with Jim Clark, mentored Sig Handelman in the development of the ebXML Metamodel Example (Manufacturing: Materials Management). - Martin Bryan is the Context Mentor. + Next Steps - Assign Mentors to the other Industry Domain Teams (Finance, Insurance, Retail, Customs) - Identify Liaisons from the other Industry Domain Teams. Liaisons are members of the Industry Domain teams that work with the Core Process team. V. Catalog of Core Processes This the catalog of standard ebXML core processes.
