What this does mean however is that there is a patent claim to all ebXML
work in this area.

As soon as any software vendor tries to implement ebXML they stand the risk
of being sued and closed down. Not a very good reason to be with ebXML.

Furthermore, at any time, IBM can change it's mind so that it can charge for
all derivative work done by all the ebXML members. Take their work, and shut
them down.

This is a very encumbered statement.

So much for ebXMLs opening statements of trying to create an open
marketplace.
