Subject: RE: [ebxml-dev] BizTalk & ebXML
The latest specification from Biztak framework dates back December 2000 (2.0). It seems that Microsoft has abandoned that spec to concentrate its effort on SOAP/WSDL/UDDI. The Biztalk framework corresponds to the ebXML messaging service spec. I am not a specialist but they do not seem to have the notion of CPP/CPA, and BPSS. They might use UDDI as a registry but UDDI spec came after BTF 2.0. The main difference I can see is that the Biztalk framework includes a transformation layer within its messaging service. ebXML doesn't. Here is the biztalk spec url: http://www.microsoft.com/biztalk/techinfo/BizTalkFramework20.doc Cheers, Jean-Jacques >>-----Original Message----- >>From: Mark Mark [mailto:mark_ai@yahoo.com] >>Sent: Friday, August 30, 2002 9:02 AM >>To: ebxml-dev@lists.ebxml.org >>Subject: [ebxml-dev] BizTalk & ebXML >> >>Where can I find material which compares BizTalk & >>ebXML from a tchnical point of view ? >> >>Any help would be much appreciated >> >>__________________________________________________ >>Do You Yahoo!? >>Yahoo!
