Vijay et al: Many vendors have successfully implemented ebXML Messaging and all the advanced reliability features of the v 2.0 specification. You are right to assume it is not a trivial implementation since the ebXML MS relies heavily on many other standards including SOAP, DSIG, XML, XML Schema, MIME stuff etc. Nevertheless, this functionality was needed to meet the needs of businesses on a global basis. For lighterwieght applications, SOAP may suffice. If you are having problems and still need to get an ebXML messaging service working, please contact me offline.
