Subject: Re: A newcomer's question about ebXML
It is correct that the collaboration protocol agreement (the document mentioned in the previous email) contain the "channel" definitions. However by the time the first messge flows, the information in the CPA has already been configured into the runtime system. In the IBM tpaML proposal, there are the following options: A single delivery channel for the entire agreement A separate delivery channel for each action request Dynamic selection of delivery channel by the runtime on a message by message basis. However, the Header will contain Trading Partner Agreement information, which may reference a seperate document (the Agreement between the two parties) that identifies the proposed 'channels'. I suggest you check out the work being done by the ebXML TP team. if by the 'document', you mean the ebXML Message, then the answer is 'this is up to the parties involved, but probably not'. ebXML Messaging Services do not dictate the content of the business data/payload. This work is under the area of Core Components and Business Processes. hope that helps. Dante Baldan wrote: > Dear all, > > I am a very newcomer to this list.
