Title: ebXML User Council

Folks,

I held a conference call with the only people who expressed interest in the User Council Steering committee:

Matthew MacKenzie - XML Global
Sean Lockhead - UCCnet.org

As you can see,  neither of these folks are "users".

After a short discussion, we all agreed that the ebXML User Council is a great idea, but a little ahead of its time....The lack of interest from the participants seems to indicate a lack of "ebXML" users (at least very few in "production").

Therefore, the three of us decided to recommend that the ebXML User Council be dissolved and its members folded back into ebXML-jmt and/or ebXML-dev.

Lets discuss tomrrow.
