Just my view. I think things are slowed down (on the CEFACT side)
by intensive specs-editing, as we're in the last lap for submission to
the September Forum meeting, and (generally) by lots of people out for
August holidays. You might check with our point man for the mktg
work, Apu Sengupta at Oracle.
Of course, even at our best, our crowd has always been more focused on
turning out work product than powerpoints: we're not a
commercial product, nor animated by one. However, now that
new substantive versions of the key specs are launched -- MSG and RegRep
are mostly approved; CC, BPSS and CPPA are in line; BEL and BCPMC are
expected within a month -- I think you will see more attention turning to
explaining them. A
Personally I also expect good things to come out of the UDDI work (nice
idea, not much user pickup) coming over to OASIS and having a chance to
interact more with ebXML RegRep.
