Since when was XML use been a pre-qualifier for webservices?!?

Since when has a 3 percent response on WSDL qualified as "entering the
mainstream?".
WSDLについての３パーセントの応答が、「主流に入るとして」、いつから資格を取得
したか？
The expression I'm reminded of is "taking a few grains of sand and building
a beach".
私が思い出させられる表現は「数粒の砂をとって、そしてビーチを作って」いる。
And were these the only questions asked?

Seems they were　a totally limited list that missed the mark on many key
aspects that would truly show a real trend.

Of course as a trained physicist - the statistical distortion of trends by
improper analysis techniques is something that is engrained　when compiling
physical experiments.

that respondents do not share?

The 2003-04-24 Gartner Dataquest surveys show that Web services have entered
the mainstream but also that users' understanding of Web services remains
unsophisticated.
