ebXML PoC: consolidated capabilities matrix

All,

Please find attached the consolidated capabilities matrix for the ebXML
proof-of-concept (PoC). It list the capabilities that participants are
intending to provide to the next PoC (there is no implication as to what a
particular organization actually provides or intends to provide as a product
or a service in the market place -- this matrix is relevant only to the
ebXML PoC).

12 organizations contributed: Ajuba, Cisco, Extol, Fujitsu/Savvion, GCI,
IPNet, Sterling/SBC, Sun Microsystems, TIE, Viquity, webMethods, XMLG. (I've
also heard from Vitria regarding possible participation this time around as
well.) Overall, a pretty good turnout. 

If you are an organization that wants to participate, but have not filled
out the matrix, please do so as soon as you can.

I don't believe that I have left out anyone that sent in a matrix, but if
so, please let me know, and I'll correct that. The same applies to any
errors or omissions in transcribing the matrices. Please note that I have
not included the comments that some of you made on the matrix. Where
relevant, I'll try to integrate them into the PoC document. The entries in
the matrix show what capabilities an organization intends to provide. The
number between brackets, where available, indicates whether this capability
is sure to be provided (2), likely to be provided (1), or being contemplated
(0).

I'll be processing the information in the matrix into a proposed allocation
of participants to roles/capabilities, i.e., a strawman proposal for who
will show what at the PoC. This will be made available prior to tomorrow's
ebXML PoC conference call.
