Subject: RE: ebXML Project Scheduling Aid
Bob, I wasn't advocating nor discouraging a V2 of any spec. Rather, since at least one of the project teams that I'm working with has indicated this as one of their goals, I wanted to see if there would be sufficient time in the review cycles to achieve that objective. I don't believe that there will be any such experience with the V1 specs for at least a few months after it comes out. It would be counterproductive to confuse potential implementors by publishing a V2 spec before anyone has done anything substantial with V1/ It might be useful to ground this discussion with some input from Sun, IBM, Netfish, and other companies that are focusing more on the products of ebxml rather than the process by which they is being created. bob
