Subject: RE: ebXML Project Scheduling Aid
Ann, I'm surprised. This was quite an inocuous messages and was provided as nothing more than an aid to looking at a schedule. What's bothering you about it? There are quite a few things that I have taken exception to in this communication, which I will discuss when we have our first meeting on the 20th. The results of this are in the attached Powerpoint file. I made a couple of new assumptions: 1) the # of days allotted to ExC review was reduced to 5; 2) the # of days allotted to editing and integration of quality and public review comments was reduced to 10. While this resulted in an extremely aggressive schedule, it does indicate that some specifications could achieve a V2.0 status if the project team wished to accomplish that objective. I trust this "generic" schedule will help you in taking a look at and possibly re-working your respective team's detailed planning schedule.
