Subject: XPATH query Take 2
Mike Rowley suggested a simplified XPATH query syntax assuming a specific logical derived documents that define content and meta data together in one document. The result is the following simpler XPATH query. ** If we assume that there is a (logicial) derived document for managed objects. /ManagedObject[@name="*IBM*"] /ManagedObject[classification//automotive %OR% classification/geography//tokyo] /ManagedObject[package/foo] ** This query may be useable against actual XML that is stored in the repository. //ManagedObject[@uuid = /classification[@targetObjRef=/ClassificationNode[@name="Industry"] /ClassificationNode[@name="Automotive"]]/@sourceUUID] -- Regards, Farrukh
