Subject: Use of URIs for Registry Service Interfaces
While glancing through the POC messages used in Tokyo, I noticed that the Service elements contained non-URI values for specifying the desired registry interface. The TRP group has adopted formal URI namespaces for Service interfaces. They also dictate that applications provide interface names such as the following: http://www.ebxml.org/namespaces/registry/services/ObjectQueryManager http://www.ebxml.org/namespaces/registry/services/ObjectManager http://www.ebxml.org/namespaces/registry/services/RegistryService Since the Registry is very application layer-ish in contrast to TRP, it seems like their services spec should follow suit.
