Subject: conference call time
Here are the results, to date, of the query on when to hold the conference calls. All days are Wednesday since I specifically constrained the answers to not suggesting different days. All times are US Eastern time. Responder's home base is shown in parentheses). 1. End by 3:30 (US east coast) 2. afternoon is OK (US west coast) 3. 4 pm, not earlier (US east coast) 4. 4 pm (US - Chicago) 5. 10 am - 1 pm (Singapore) 6. NOT 11 am - noon (US east coast) conflicts with ebXML steering committee call In this small set of responses, I don't see a basis for a fair decision on changing the time. Please continue to respond to the proposal to make the calls earlier. It is especially important to have more responses from the Japan-East Asia area. I will also poll the people who are on tomorrow's conference call. Barring enough responses to make a fair decision, I propose to leave the calls at 4 p.m. and to entertain a proposal to reopen the question during the ebXML meeting in Japan when we will presumably have a large group in attendance.
