RE: OFF-TOPIC: Presentations damaged?

I thought it was just me. They didn't work when I looked previously.

I just re-downloaded all of the posted presentations today from the page at:

http://www.ebxml.org/meetings/20000807/sjconf.htm

When I try to open them in Acrobat Reader, they all give:

"There was an error opening this document. Could not repair file."
(with the inevitable "OK" button, of course!)

except for the POC document, which gives:

"There was an error opening this document. The root object is missing or invalid."

I am using Acrobat Reader 4.0; the "about" box says "4.0 0513 09:57".

Gordon,

Are you using Acrobat 3.0? If so, upgrade to 4.0. That may
be the problem. I have seen this referenced elsewhere as well.
