Subject: RE: Security Discussion: Changed Agenda: Teleconference : 12/21/2000 12:30-4pm CDT : RIM discussion follow-up
Scott, It is not a good practice to discuss this topic as a part of the regrep meeting. Tomorrow's meeting was about RegRep Info Model. If we turn it into an ebXML Security Services meeting, we need to bring in Security WG as well. First we need to know the gist of the stc conversation. IMHO, we should convene a separate mtg for the security aspects. cheers > -----Original Message----- > From: Nieman, Scott [mailto:Scott.Nieman@NorstanConsulting.com] > Sent: Wednesday, December 20, 2000 11:14 AM > To: 'ebxml-regrep@lists.ebxml.org' > Cc: 'ebxml-stc@lists.ebxml.org' > Subject: Security Discussion: Changed Agenda: Teleconference : 12/21/200 > 0 12:30-4pm CDT : RIM discussion follow-up > > > To follow-up regarding the StC conversation today, I would like to invite > Rik, Marty, Sid, Nick and anyone else to join the scheduled RR > teleconference tomorrow, to discuss a potential need for a separate ebXML > Security Service, specifically to handle authentication, encryption, and > decryption needs.
