Subject: RE: Acknowledgment Message
Masayoshi Option 2 is correct. The Acknowledgement message is sent in a separate pose if syncReply is false and in the HTTP Response if syncReply is true. Note that if syncReply is true, then there may be a payload associated with the message as well as the acknowledgement. In reliable messaging, how to bind Acknowledgement Message (Action element == "Acknowledgment") with HTTP? The ebXML Message Service spec does not define this point. SOAP 1.1 specification does not also define whether HTTP response message carries a message or not using entity body. Two binding ways are expected: 1. Acknowledgement Message is always carried by HTTP response message. 2. When syncReply is set to True, Acknowledgement Message is carried by HTTP response message. When syncReply is set to False, Acknowledgement Message is carried by independent POST method. Which is correct?
