Subject: Re: UML/XML guidelines

Kris,
This is a good idea.
We should either have a separate subgroup scheduled or a specific time
block
on the SJ Arch agenda. I have been a little slow getting my information
together; my apology.
I should be able to get it to you this week; I assume you mean on holiday
7/31 - 8/4.
The BP team ultimately must come to terms with UML/XML mapping and the lack
of a current
appropriate UML Profile. I suspect there would be interest from BP for such
discussion,
and we should perhaps have an invite open.....?

Architecture team: There is a joint TRP/BP meeting being planned for the SJ
meeting for a
presentation on our IBM tpaML. I would suggest that if anyone is interested
in this,
you should plan to attend such meeting/presentation. I don't know more
detail at this time.
We debated multiple presentations in workgroups, but it seems best to have
one on this.

Subject: Re: UML/XML guidelines

All,

I would like to set up this XML design rules subgroup as soon as possible
so that we can have a discussion during the San Jose
meeting.
What do you think?
Next week I am on holiday for one week. So I have to arrange everything
this week.
Any suggestions on how to further proceed? (e.g. maybe we can kick off
using the XML design rules document and then we can look for
the commonalties/differences with other documents/initiatives such as yours
Scott, but then we need to make that your doc public as
well)

Thanks for your early reply.
Kris
