Subject: BPSS doc updated for PrenticeHall

As most of you know the ebXML specifications are being printed in hard copy by
Prentice Hall. As a result, we were all asked to make any last formatting and
typo fixes to make the documents more presentable. The editors of the BPSS
specification went through that exercise and submitted the attached .zip file.
It contains the changed document, the .dtd, the .xsd, the exampel and a change
log. None of the changes are substantial or normative. The only changes to the
.dtd and the .xsd were in comments.

For a little while after I submitted the changes, I wasn't sure if they had in
fact been forwarded to Prentice Hall. I have now gotten confirmation as per
attached e-mail from Karl Best, that this did in fact happen. As you can see
from Karl's email it will be quite a while before we see the printed hard
copy, so in the meantime Karl is looking for a way to get the equivalent soft
copy posted on ebXML.org.

Since it was decided that these cleaned up versions of the specifications
would NOT have a new version number, this is still version 1.01. The quickest
way to make sure you are looking at the right latest version is to look at the
date in the upper right hand corner of page 2 and onwards. It should say 'May
2001' not 'April 2001'.

Karsten:

Well, no, we shouldn't be bumping the rev number. This was supposed to be
just cosmetic changes (i.e. formatting etc. touchups that I was unable to
finish in the weekend between Vienna and when the docs got put on the web).
Any substantive changes would have to go through an approval process.
