Karsten, I am not sure what you are implying. All I did, as chair 
of a new group, was to encourage members to present a project 
proposal.

Jamie responded to an issue that arose earlier around BPSS and 
suggested two actions. All I did encourage option 2 since it is a 
valid one. I did not evaluate a project proposal as such. Nor am I 
going to approve any submission as a result of option 2 unless it 
is following the rules and process.

BTW, this is a discussion list which is created to have this type 
of dialog in order to ensure timely actions without having to wait 
for face-2-face meetings. In closing, I am not sure what your are 
questioning.
