If you go to http://www.ebxml.org and click on the specifications button,
you will find a list of the the ebXML version 1 specifications and
technical reports.  There is a technical architecture specification that
provides an overview and a requirements specification that defines the
overall requirements on the specifications.  Each technical specification
includes tutorial material at the beginning and there are plenty of
examples within the specifications.
