Subject: [ebxml-dev] Re: Seattle Meeting Agenda and Information
Regarding http://www.x12.org/x12org/meetings/ebtwg.cfm it seems odd that there is no mention of this important meeting on either the ebTWG or ebXML websites. This meeting also not announced on the OASIS website; it may be significant to the ebXML CPPA, ebXML, Implement, ebXML Joint Committee, ebXML Messaging and ebXML Registry Technical Committees of OASIS. I do not believe I've seen any press releases. This meeting also does not seem to show up in a search for " ebTWG " in Robin Cover's pages http://xml.coverpages.org/search?NS-search-page=results http://xml.coverpages.org/coreComponents.html May I ask, respectfully, what is the official position of UN/CEFACT towards publicizing the Seattle meetings, and towards the ebTWG workgroups? Are there any type of constraints or limits to UN/CEFACT's support, or willingness to publicize or support this particular activity of ebTWG? Or is there perhaps, a resource constraint within the ebTWG workgroups (core component specification, BOTLs, BCPMC etc.) that makes it a bad idea to have lots of newbies showing up at the Seattle work sessions? Please forgive my speculations... I've got a big investment of time in ebXML, and there isn't anybody I can call on the telephone, Faithfully, Todd At 03:04 PM 1/11/02, Klaus-Dieter Naujok wrote: >eBTWG/TMWG Meeting Agenda >4 - 8 February 2002 >The Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers >1400 Sixth and Pike Streets >Seattle, Washington 98101 >Phone: (206) 621-9000 >Fax: (206) 621-8441 > >Monday, 4 February 2002 > >10:00-12:00 Joint Opening Plenary > 10:00 Welcome eBTWG/TMWG Chair > 10:15 TMWG Introduction > 10:30 eBTWG Project Team Introductions (with Q&A) > o eBusiness Architecture Specification > o Business Collaboration Patterns and Monitored Commitments > Specification > o Business Collaboration Protocol Specification > o Business Object Type Library > o Business Process Information Model Exchange Schema > o Business Process Specification Schema > o Common Business Process Catalog > o Core Component Specification > o Core Component Realization Specification > o UML to XML Design Rules >12:00-13:00 Lunch >13:00-17:00 eBTWG & TMWG Project Team Meetings > o Joint Session of All eBTWG Business Process Project Teams > o eBTWG Core Component Project Team > o eBTWG eBusiness Architecture Project Team > o Joint Session of eBTWG¹s UML2XML & Core Component Realization > Teams > o TMWG N090 Project Team >17:15-18:30 eBTWG Steering Committee Meeting > >Tuesday - Thursday, 5-7 February 2002 > >09:00-17:00 eBTWG & TMWG Project Team Meetings >17:15-18:30 eBTWG Steering Committee Meeting > >Friday, 8 February 2002 > >09:00-12:00 eBTWG & TMWG Project Team Meetings >12:00-13:00 Lunch >13:00-16:00 Closing Plenary > 13:00 Summary Report on Executive Group Activities (Chair) > 13:15 Summary Report on Steering Committee Activities (Vice Chair) > 13:30 eBTWG & TMWG Project Team Reports > o TMWG N090 Report > o eBusiness Architecture Specification > o Business Collaboration Patterns and Monitored Commitments > Specification > o Business Collaboration Protocol Specification > o Business Object Type Library > o Business Process Information Model Exchange Schema > o Business Process Specification Schema > o Common Business Process Catalog > o Core Component Specification > o Core Component Realization Specification > o UML to XML Design Rules > 15:30 General Q&A > 15:55 Closing Remarks - eBTWG Chair >16:00 Closing of Meeting > >Hotel Information: >The Sheraton Seattle Hotel and Towers >1400 Sixth and Pike Streets >Seattle, Washington 98101 >Phone: (206) 621-9000 >Fax: (206) 621-8441 > >The rate for the rooms are US$147 (single) and US$167 (double) plus >taxes.
