Subject: RE: [ebxml-dev] Core Processes to complement Core Components?
Andrezej, such work is under way. You can get more information about their work: UN/CEFACT DRAFT eBTWG - Common Business Process Catalog Technical Specification 3rd Working Draft UN/CEFACT/CSG/eBTWG ebTWG Common Business Process Catalog Team Revision 0.76 29 May, 2002 2.1 Summary of Contents of Document The Common Business Processes Catalog technical specification document provides the methodology to identify, discover, and maximize the reuse of, commonly used business processes. In a similar vein to Core Components (a very worthy effort)...I was curious as to why there does not seem to be a Core Processes effort underway. I would have thought that having standardized, searchable processes (akin to Rosettanet PIPs perhaps) would be a beneficial thing. These processes could be references, inherited from, and/or copied and modified similar to Core Components. Or am I just being a bit stunned today and have missed something obvious? ...Andrzej Chaeron Corporation http://www.chaeron.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- The ebxml-dev list is sponsored by OASIS.
