never mind david being in the ebXML mix. of course he is. the real surprise is seeing IBM in the mix, supporting ebXML - it being "dead" and all.

IBM have announced availability of the following enhancements for their DataPower devices.

The DataPower device provides firmware accelerated handling of XML and xslt along with secure communications, routing and certificate management.

Basically a XML developers dream tool (speaking from experience with these).

Now add ebXML too for awesome B2B applications; what is not to like?!

WebSphere DataPower B2B Appliance XB60 enhancements include
Updated B2B protocol support with the addition of ebMS v2.0
B2B interoperability through the completion of Drummond Group 1Q2010 AS2 certification
Support for Active/Passive meta-store failover (HA)
Support for multi-step processing in the B2B Gateway Service
