Subject: [ebxml-mktg-sc] ebXML JMT Steering Committee Minutes: 27 Nov 2002

ebXML JMT Steering Committee Minutes
27 Nov 2002

Teleconference host:
XML Global

Attending:
David, Carol, Alan, Monica

Discussion:
Team decided to hold a F2F Steering Committee meeting in Baltimore at
XML 2002 on Wednesday, 11 Dec, at 5:00 pm in the OASIS booth.

Alan and Carol are scheduled to meet with Edd Dumbill, XML Europe 2003
conference chair, and IDEAlliance staff to discuss running a 2-day ebXML
track in London in May. Team discussed also doing events in North
America and Asia. Alan suggested we contact Hong Kong University which
has several pilot projects. David suggested Tradegate in Australia and
NTT in Japan. IDEAlliance may have a Sydney conference that would work.
KIEC may be another option.

Monica sent out templates for events, white papers, and summary. She
will add OASIS disclaimer, and distribute next week.

David is still working on standard ebXML presentations; they should be
ready for review next week.

Monica is starting on the next release of the ebXML Adoption Update.
David suggested providing more analyst-friendly materials, such as
charts, stats, matrixes. Monica reported feedback from other
implementers wanting to be on the list, e.g., NIST has a Registry
project for integrating medical guideline information.

Action item:
All SC members who are able to attend the F2F meeting in Baltimore
should RSVP to Carol.
