Subject: RE: [ebxml-mktg-sc] 6/5/2003: Four Case Studies
Mark, The original V1.0 spec' is approved as part of the original ebXML specifications from 1999 - he's talking about the 1.05 revisions. The 1.05 revisions are currently in the review process. There have been unacceptable delays in that release IMHO : -( My understanding is that the BPSS team is fixing that. I'm VERY happy with the maturity of BPSS - especially when compared to other BPM options. It does an excellent job for business analysts ( a big chunk of GXS user base) - and the implementation I have built in VisualScript is exactly the sort of thing GXS should be supporting. BTW - I need to come and talk to GXS about using VisualScript to jump start XML/ebXML initiatives for customers - hint! Thanks, DW. ========================================================= Message text written by "Yader, Mark (GXS)" > Monica & Team: The Product Manager for BPM at GXS has put the following statement in an e-mail to our folks in HKG: "The BPSS aspect of ebXML has not even been fully approved by ebXML.org yet" and he has used this as an argument against ebXML support. Is this the case ? How mature is BPSS (compared to other BP specs?). <
