Welcome to the ebXML Joint Marketing Team (JMT). We appreciate your
support of ebXML marketing and look forward to working together.

Just so we can get an idea of who has committed to the team, please send
me a brief note describing
1) your background with ebXML
2) your organization's ebXML support (user/vendor/industry group?)
3) what you hope to accomplish as part of the JMT
4) whether you are a member of OASIS and/or UN/CEFACT
5) particular types of action items you would like to take on:
  -authoring white papers
  -editing case studies
  -collecting data on ebXML implementations
  -interfacing with industry groups endorsing ebXML
  -coordinating press/analyst briefings
  -creating slide presentations
  -speaking at conferences
  -editing www.ebxml.org web site content
  -coordinating ebXML seminars and events
  -translating marketing materials
  -other

One of our first priorities will be to elect a chair or perhaps two
co-chairs for the ebXML JMT. If you would be interested in serving as
chair, please let me know.

For your review, I've attached the six-month ebXML Marketing Plan that
we discussed in Barcelona last month. We'll be sending out details on
our first teleconference by the middle of June. We will make every
attempt to schedule teleconferences to enable maximum participation from
JMT members. If you are unable to participate in teleconferences, you
may still take on action items and contribute to our work via email.
