Subject: Re: POC PR event decision by Nov 16

Hi All,

Please read the email below from Ed Julson regarding the POC PR event (most of you
did not get it since it got bounced from the list server). A slight change to this
is that it looks like option 2 (event for week of Nov 27) is no longer an option.
Because of the holiday season, we have not been able to find a suitable venue for
the week of Nov 27. In fact, we are trying very hard to look for something for the
morning of Dec 12.

Regarding this event, we ask those that are committing to the event to commit their
marketing resources as well. This is a PR event for the POC participants and we
need to work with the marketing/PR people from each company to help promote their
company. As such, at the event, we will be providing space for product/company
literature and can try to arrange rooms for briefings.

For those committed companies ;-), we will begin working with them next week on
planning for this event.

In order for us to go ahead, we need a commitment by end of day Thursday (Nov 16).
Also, please let Ed Julson (ed.julson@sun.com) and myself (steven.yung@sun.com) know
the marketing/PR contacts for your company; we will be trying to arrange a
marketing/PR conference call for Tuesday of next week.

Cheers,
Steve
