Nick, There are no specs that talk about this. What I am suggesting is to validate the case where the TRP can transport an S/MIME or PGP/MIME payload. The TRP will look at the payload as if it was BLOB and does not do anything with it. Basically, the mime/demiming is happening at the app level. I do not believe that there will be any TRP level security spec ready in time for the next POC. Hopefully, this issue will be addressed soon. Maryann could elaborate more.
