Subject: RE: Clarification on participation for new members
More on the topic: First, POC is not just for members, it is for ALL who implement. It just happens that a lot of those that implement are vendors (we've had none-vendors participate in the past). I have heard good things about your IT organization's brain power and think that they could do a fine job. Second, I need to clarify what Mark said. After reviewing the suggested topics, the proposals are NOT voted on. Rather, through a collaborative process, a combined proposal is produced which will satisfy the goals of the participants and ebXML as a whole. Thanks, Sid. -----Original Message----- From: Welsh, David [mailto:David.Welsh@nordstrom.com] Sent: Friday, January 26, 2001 9:36 AM To: 'mark.hale@interwoven.com'; ebXML POC Subject: RE: Clarification on participation for new members Mark, So from your message then, is the POC only meant for 'vendors' and not 'businesses' ? >"POC votes on the proposal topics to see which can be > accomplished and have POC vendor support" Thanks Dave > -----Original Message----- > From: Mark A.
