Subject: Re: ebXML Registry and Repository Part 1: Business Domain SpecificationReleased for First Comment Period
Dear Scott, 1 - I have reviewed the document in reference and I would like to have a clarification from you on the Section 2 Figure 2 about the Actors relationship diagram and more specifically about the "Corporation" actor. According to the diagram, there is no way a Corporation could become a Registration Authority (RA) whilst I thought (and Eric confirmed it to me) that the ebXML Registry and Repository was to be a distributed system with I guess local RA's. In that case, we should assume that Corporation may have an RA role and therefore should inherit from the RA actor in the diagram. Am I correct or on the contrary should we understand that there is one single central RA with distributed registries and repositories or moreover with a central registry and repository ? 2 - Could you please send me a copy of the X.285 Specs if you have one (I have not been able to get one from the various links on the regrep sites). Thanks in advance. Looking forward to your answer.
