White Paper on Registry/Repository

ebXML RegRep List,

Lisa Carnahan and I have prepared a White Paper that describes a General
Purpose Registry/Repository Information Model.  It's available at the NIST
external FTP site:

  ftp://xsun.sdct.itl.nist.gov/regrep/GPregrepModel.pdf (32 pages)

We hope that ebXML RegRep will find it advantageous to use a "specialization"
of this model as part of its Registry/Repository specification. 

Note that Section 6 of the paper discusses various conformance alternatives,
which should make it easier for different implementations to get on board.
