Version 1.1 - OASIS Reg/Rep Technical Specification

ebXML regrep,

There have been several references to the OASIS Registry/Repository
specification on the ebXML regrep email list today.  Unfortunately, the
document is not yet available on the OASIS web page, but what follows is
the editor's Dec 20th announcement of document availability in PDF format
at the editor's external FTP site.

FYI - The OASIS Reg/Rep chair, Lisa Carnahan, has been home ill since late
last week, so she has not yet initiated any approval process on the whole
document.

The new version of the OASIS Registry/Repository Technical Specification
resulting from the face-to-face meeting in Washington, DC on December 5,
2000, and the follow-on teleconference December 15, is now available at URL:

  ftp://xsun.sdct.itl.nist.gov/regrep/OasisRegrepSpec.pdf

Lisa will follow-up with an Issues List and an email ballot for adoption of
the specification as a base document. She will also post the document to
the official OASIS Regrep Web site.
