Subject: RE: RIM 0.55 distribution
I have reviewed the RIM v0.55 "diff" document and feel that none of the changes are substantive in nature but purely clarification and resolution to concerns from the QRT. I am recommending that QRT accept the 0.55 version of RIM as the companion document to the RS spec previously submitted. Finally, for the future, I am authorizing Farrukh to make revisions to the document that are ONLY editorial in nature and submit revisions to QRT on behalf of the team . "Editorial in nature" is an assumption that changes only provide clarification to QRT concerns. Any substantive changes will require VOTE by the registry team. I am assuming that the StC will not object this the process (please let me know asap if this is an issue). I apologize for the mistake. All please disregard RIM 0.55 until Scott makes an announcement. -- Regards, Farrukh Klaus-Dieter Naujok wrote: > On Fri, 19 Jan 2001 10:03:08 -0500, Farrukh Najmi wrote: > > >I humbly suggest that if possible the QR team take the 0.55 RIm version > >for review instead of RIM 0.54.
