Taking the role of an ebXML BP purest,
the interactions that you described are Collaborations and should
have a Specification Schema. CPPs reference Roles in those Specification
Schemas.

Oh, OK - but then is that just one Master BP collaboration that the CPP
references as - everyone uses the same one ->
"this is how to do this that I do" - roadmap type thing?

The CPP tells you the mechanics of talking to the particular registry
and just establishes the registries presence in hyper-space.
