Jon:

	I don't believe you are in the minority - in fact you
may be part of the silent (or maybe not so silent) majority of people
who have used namespaces.  

	The namespace specification itself is ambiguous and software
implementations inconsistent - which leads to incapabibility.  
I would also urge ebxml to tread lightly with namespaces.
