FTP

When IBM first made tpaML public in January, 2000, there was no support for
FTP.  I received a complaint about this from a company that uses FTP for
B2B communication.  We added a definition for TPA in tpaML 1.0.6 but there
were many outstanding questions.

Ver. 0.1 of the CPA-CPP specification includes a preliminary FTP definition
as a trial balloon but it is probably to simple if correct at all.  If
anyone who sees this posting can provide more information about what would
have to be in an FTP definition in a CPP and CPA,  please append the
information here.  Open questions include:

   Need for GET, PUT, or both
   Need to specify transfer mode (binary/character)
   Password issues
   Need to specify Passive mode
   Need to specify Passive mode conrtrol port
   Other firewall issues
   Issues not raised above
