Rik, I was just talking with some folks on the W3C XForms WG which is working on a replacement for HTML forms. The conversation got around to the SUBMIT protocol aspect of the new XForms work and it occurred to me that perhaps the ebXML Transport and routing protocol might be adapted (or simply adopted) for the purpose of submitting XForms data to a server.
