A quick Update about the ebXML transition of the UN/CEFACT 
responsibilities to eBTWG.

The web site is now up to date with the latest information, 
including a FAQ and the Project Proposal Template.

We have received our first Project Proposal for the Core Component 
Specification and are in the approval review process. I hope to 
have this concluded by end of next week, latest. Stay tuned for 
that one.

I am informed that the Business Process Team is in the final stage 
of having their project proposal ready for submission by end of 
next week. All in all great progress for the transition efforts.

As to our meeting in October (8-12), we have a location, San 
Francisco Bay. We are in the final stages of contract negotiation 
with a hotel very near the San Francisco airport. Will have more on 
this by next week.
