However, I hope we agree that there is a part of TPA (I might not be using the latest terminology here), which is MS specific (timeout, time between retries, ... and who knows what else). I would say that there is a piece of TPA that is enforced by MS. The question is what it is. So far we didn't have, AFAIK, objection to this from TR&P group and the same section was posted to them recently. Also, there has been a very lively, on-going discussion in TP group related to this issue and I would like to see more feedback on this from them as well. To sum it up, I wouldn't take it out yet.
