Dear Ann:

Are there any details on the January meeting (31 January-4 February 2000
Orlando, Florida, USA)?  Do we even know which hotel the meeting will be
held at?  The odds are 50-50 that I will attend.

There hasn't been any discussion in any of the other groups that I
discern requires any action on our part.  They're still discussing
"issues."  I'm subscribed to all the other groups, and I am concerned
that many think the goal of ebXML is to come up with yet another XML
initiative, what with such worries as support for X12 and EDIFACT.

I'd be happy if all that came out of ebXML were common transport,
packaging and repository protocols that all the initiatives agreed to
use.

Have not heard a word from some members of the team. The January meeting

closely approaching and there has been some work done in the other
workgroups
that I believe requires publication. I would like to entertain a
conference call
since e-mail does not seem to encourage comunication to discuss the

agenda.

Would appreciate your thoughts, comments and roll call as to who is
planning to
attend the meeting.
