Subject: 26 June Conference Call Notice
Business Process Team
The BP PT will hold its next conference call on Monday 19 June at 12:00 p.m. US
EDT. The agenda for the call follows:
1. Review proposed changes to the BP Modeling Specification (URL for this
document to be provided in a separate email message)
2. Review comments submitted on the BP Modeling Specification and complete
disposition statements (the URL for this document follows)

3. Update on interaction with CC PT (Brian Hayes)
4. Review other action items from 19 June.
5. Methodology meeting with UN/CEFACT TMWG 17-21 July, Minneapolis

May 26 Submit first draft BP Technical Specification to full ebXML Work Group
for review and comment
June 5 BP Conference Call 9am PCT
Team Assignments:
a.. Request confirmation from ebXML Steering Committee that the BP PT
Technical Specification is still on track for a vote at the August plenary
meeting.
b.. Karsten: send Bob the demo-case collaboration diagram to further
illustrate the metamodel.
c.. Brian: revise descriptions based on the latest ebXML descriptions and
forward them again to ebXML after internal review.
d.. Karsten: forward Comment/Resolution Spread Sheet for posting and
tracking issues and resolution
e.. Bob: provide collaboration diagrams for the auto example in time for
Brian
Ęs 20 June meeting with the CC PT members;
f.. Brian: distribute a CC PT writeup of a "context" example from the
Brussels meeting.
g.. Paul: collect comments until official editor is declared
h.. Marcia: include the activities of demonstration by example and
collaboration with the CC PT, as identified above, in the Work Plan along with
the critical dates relative to the BP Modeling Specification.
i.. All Team: Review BP PT Spec on the BP PT website; ID PT members to map
BP PT meta-model to existing frameworks; ID Editors; contact Jim Clark to relay
the importance of his participation in BP PT.

Issue: Is the BP PT Technical Specification still considered on track for the
"ebXML Plenary Vote" option in August given the difficulty experienced in
posting the specification to the ebXML website ?
The answer is "yes."

6/5/00 Klaus writes:
It has been over a week now that I have sent on behalf of the BP
and Architecture team their draft specification in pdf form to
Brent. However, they are not shown under on our web site under
"Drafts - Open for Comments".
6/7/00 In response to the BP PT question related to "on track" BPPT Technical
Specification, Klaus writes:
In order to overcome the missing links under the "Drafts:
Open for Comment" page for the Architecture, BP and Core
Component Draft Specification, Klaus will post the links on
the ebXML (General) list. The StC agreed not to change the timetable because of
the problems with the links being made public outside their
list members.
