Subject: RE: Which documents to start with?
Tom, The message details are in the Transport, Routing and Packaging specifications. It would a logical first step in understanding ebXML. You would need to build a message to fully understand and appreciate the specifications. It is easier to create a message either using XML tools or by writing a program. Print out the TRP specs and refer to it when you create the sample messages. In the process you'd also learn the syntax and semantics of the various elements. As a prototype, the RosettaNet PIP3A4 exchange is an excellent use case. Especially if you use conversation manager and an orchestrator to co-ordinate the messages between a server and a few clients. cheers -----Original Message----- From: tgagne@efinnet.com [mailto:tgagne@efinnet.com]On Behalf Of Thomas Gagne Sent: Tuesday, June 05, 2001 11:21 AM To: ebxml-dev@lists.ebxml.org Subject: Which documents to start with? I've visited http://www.ebxml.org and have always ended-up wondering where the specifications for the actual message contents are, and if there's any sample data I can try parsing. There seems to be a lot of documentation but I'm having trouble finding what I need to either read and understand ebXML or create ebXML messages. -- .tom ------------------------------------------------------------------ To unsubscribe from this elist send a message with the single word "unsubscribe" in the body to: ebxml-dev-request@lists.ebxml.org
