Bob, The CPPA group certainly wants to be able to eventually support "all possible variations of casual and long-term business relationships". The most dynamic ones are clearly futures and will partly depend on the outcome of the negotiation work that is just beginning. The Open-edi Framework also makes this assumption. Does the CPPA group actually make this assumption, or this a strawman? Certainly nobody in ebXM/eBTWG/CPPA that I know makes that assumption. My understanding of the CPPA group is that they expect all possible variations of casual and long-term business relationships to happen. Personally, I tend to work with long-term contractual relationships, as you describe. -Bob Haugen ---------------------------------------------------------------- The ebxml-dev list is sponsored by OASIS.
