The BizTalk comment was not meant seriously, but wouldn't it
be possible to start working on version 3 of the ebXML spec
and in that attempt go around the IBM claims?
I know that would put a lot of effort into the trashbin, but
who is to blame but IBM?
I hope they'll drop the claims, and make the use of the IPRs
royalty free, and according the ZDNet article, a lot of people
agree with me.

Seriously: does anyone have additional information about the validity of
IBM's claim? May somebody from IBM who wants to comment on this?
What would be the worst case scenario? Licence fees or canceling ebXML?
